Our Story

Born from an old port where Vietnam met the world.

FAIFO, pronounced "FY-foh", takes its name from Faifo: the historic international trading port of Hoi An, where merchants from Japan, China, Portugal, the Netherlands and beyond crossed paths through the 16th and 17th centuries. That meeting of cultures is the seed of our story.

Why FAIFO exists

An old-world name for a modern resortwear house.

The mix at the heart of FAIFO is not a slogan. It is historical memory: an Asian port open to the sea, shaped by trade, craft and exchange. Our resortwear carries that spirit into the present with a Vietnamese point of view, Mediterranean ease, feminine shape and a personal-fit promise.

01

Where it begins

Faifo was an old name connected to Hoi An, remembered as a meeting point between Vietnam and the wider world. We use that name to carry depth, place and openness into the brand.

02

What it becomes

FAIFO turns that port-city memory into clothing: resort pieces that feel Vietnamese in soul, Mediterranean in ease, and personal in the way they are fitted and worn.

03

Why it matters

In a market full of easy-to-copy aesthetics, the FAIFO name gives us a harder-to-copy foundation: a place, a history, and a clear reason for Vietnam-made resortwear to speak outward.

What FAIFO means

FAIFO is resortwear with a Vietnamese soul and a personal-fit promise.

FAIFO is not built to be a fast-fashion shop with endless drops. It is a focused resortwear house: feminine dresses and sets, made in small runs, styled for warm destinations, and supported by a fit process that treats each order as a conversation rather than a transaction.

Rooted

A Vietnamese point of view: light, craft-aware, feminine and connected to places where beauty is lived outdoors.

Personal

Standard sizes are available, but made-to-measure keeps the customer close to the making process.

Resort-minded

Every piece should feel ready for travel, celebration, daylight, movement and real photos.

Direct

As a DTC brand, FAIFO learns from orders, reviews and customer photos to improve fit and future collections.

Founder story

Two sisters, one small beginning, and a belief that Vietnam-made fashion could travel farther.

Before FAIFO became a name for the world, it began much closer to home: with two sisters building a fashion practice from real orders, real fittings and the quiet discipline of learning what women actually want to wear. One sister stayed close to shape, fabric and the feeling of a piece on the body. The other stayed close to operations, customer conversations and the many small details that turn an idea into something deliverable.

Their early work was not built from a large showroom or a perfect launch plan. It grew from customer photos, measurement notes, production follow-ups and the instinct that a dress should make a woman feel considered, not just sold to. FAIFO carries that beginning forward: a sister-built brand from Vietnam, made for women who are also building their own lives.

01 Close to the customer

Every order, review and fit question becomes a way to improve the next piece.

02 Close to the making

The brand stays connected to production so detail, sizing and finish can be adjusted with care.

03 Close to the dream

FAIFO is a practical business, but it is also a way for Vietnamese-made resortwear to meet the world.

A woman-led brand with an operator's patience and a designer's eye.

FAIFO grows from a woman-led fashion practice in Vietnam: not only a label, but a more independent path for design, production and customer relationships. The brand carries that spirit into every decision: pieces that feel feminine without feeling fragile, polished without feeling distant, and special without being unreachable.

Our ambition is to become a small but serious DTC house from Vietnam: close to the customer, proud of local making, and able to turn real feedback into better fit, better edits and better collections.

Community

A brand for women who are building their own lives.

The women around FAIFO are founders, operators, creators, travellers, mothers, daughters and friends. They are not waiting for a perfect occasion to dress beautifully. They are creating their own occasions: a weekend away, a first launch, a dinner after a long workday, a photo that marks a new chapter.

That is why our story is not only about dresses. It is about a new generation of Vietnamese-made fashion moving closer to the people who wear it, with more openness, more care and more pride in the work behind each piece.

Made with care

Hand-finished details, cut after order, fitted with intention.

01

Cut after order

We keep production intentional. Standard size or made-to-measure, the fit path is selected before the piece is prepared.

02

Details you can see

Eyelet, lace, embroidery, soft volume and summer prints are chosen because they hold texture in real life and in photos.

03

Made to measure

Customers can share bust, waist, hip and height so the team can review the fit before production.

04

Made in Vietnam

FAIFO is rooted in a Vietnam fashion company and carries that production base into a more direct global customer experience.
